Documentary Film Workshop

A documentary doesn’t invent the story. It discovers it. It goes to people, places and events, searches for the truth, and then tells it in a way that makes viewers see the world with new eyes. Making a powerful documentary takes careful research, interviews that reveal what lies beneath the words, field shooting that captures the moment, and an edit that builds all of it into a coherent story.

This workshop offers an advanced training experience in documentary filmmaking, giving participants the chance to learn, apply and interact directly, while exploring the stages professional documentary makers rely on, from idea to final film.

Over three days of training, participants move from research and choosing the story, to writing the documentary treatment, conducting interviews and field shooting, all the way to building the film in the edit.

This is not a workshop where you just listen. It is an interactive experience where you work on a short documentary project step by step.

الفيلم الوثائقي لا يخترع القصة، بل يكتشفها. يذهب إلى الناس والأماكن والأحداث، ويبحث عن الحقيقة، ثم يرويها بطريقة تجعل المشاهد يرى العالم بعين جديدة. وصناعة وثائقي مؤثر تحتاج إلى بحث دقيق، ومقابلات تكشف ما وراء الكلام، وتصوير ميداني يلتقط اللحظة، ومونتاج يبني من كل ذلك قصة متماسكة.

تقدم الورشة تجربة تدريبية متقدمة في صناعة الأفلام الوثائقية، تتيح للمشاركين فرصة التعلّم والتطبيق والتفاعل المباشر، والتعرّف على المراحل التي يعتمد عليها صنّاع الأفلام الوثائقية المحترفون من الفكرة إلى الفيلم النهائي.

على مدار ثلاثة أيام من التدريب، ينتقل المشاركون من البحث واختيار القصة، إلى كتابة المعالجة الوثائقية، وإجراء المقابلات، والتصوير الميداني، وصولاً إلى بناء الفيلم في المونتاج.

هذه ليست ورشة تعتمد على الاستماع فقط، بل تجربة تفاعلية يعمل فيها المشارك على مشروع فيلم وثائقي قصير خطوة بخطوة.

البحث واختيار القصة
تعلّم كيف تجد قصة تستحق أن تُروى، وتبحث في تفاصيلها، وتتحقق من مصادرها ومعلوماتها.

المعالجة الوثائقية
تدرّب على كتابة معالجة واضحة ومقنعة تشرح رؤية الفيلم وأسلوبه، وتقنع جهات الإنتاج والتمويل.

أساليب السرد الوثائقي
اكتشف الأساليب المختلفة في الأفلام الوثائقية، من المراقبة إلى المقابلات والتعليق الصوتي، ومتى تستخدم كل أسلوب.

المقابلات
تعلّم كيف تُعدّ أسئلتك، وتبني الثقة مع الضيوف، وتجري مقابلات تكشف القصة الحقيقية.

التصوير الميداني
صوّر في المواقع الحقيقية، وتعامل مع الظروف غير المتوقعة، والتقط اللحظات التي لا تتكرر.

البناء في المونتاج
اكتشف كيف تبني الفيلم من المادة المصوّرة، وتصنع إيقاعاً مؤثراً وتسلسلاً يشدّ المشاهد.

طبّق واحصل على الملاحظات
لا تكتفِ بالاستماع. تركز الورشة على العمل العملي على مشروع حقيقي، بما يمنح المشاركين فرصة الحصول على التوجيه والملاحظات المباشرة على أعمالهم.
