Actor Preparation Workshop

Acting isn’t memorizing lines and saying them on camera. It’s a journey into the character: understanding their motives and past, and turning their emotions into a voice, movement and gaze the viewer believes. A professional actor knows how to analyze a script, use their body and voice as tools, adjust their performance to the size of the shot, and react truthfully to whoever is in front of them.

This workshop offers an advanced training experience in actor preparation, giving participants the chance to learn, apply and interact directly, while exploring the methods professional actors rely on in film, television and theater.

Over three days of training, participants move from script and character analysis, to physical and vocal expression, acting for camera and improvisation and interaction with a scene partner, all the way to audition preparation and filming a complete scene.

This is not a workshop where you just listen. It is an interactive experience where you perform real scenes on camera step by step.

What will you learn?

Script and character analysis
Learn how to read a script in depth, and understand the character’s motives, past and goal in each scene.

Physical expression
Practice using your body, posture and movement as tools to express the character and their emotions.

Vocal performance
Discover how to use voice, tone and rhythm to give dialogue truth and life.

Acting for camera
Learn the difference between acting for the stage and acting for the camera, and how to adjust your performance to the size and closeness of the shot.

Improvisation and interaction
Practice improvisation, real listening, and reacting truthfully and spontaneously to your scene partner.

Auditions
Prepare an audition scene, film it, and leave with a reel to share with production companies.

Practice and get feedback
Don’t just listen. The workshop focuses on hands-on training and filmed scenes, giving participants direct guidance and feedback on their performance.

ورشة إعداد الممثل

التمثيل ليس حفظ حوار وقوله أمام الكاميرا، بل رحلة داخل الشخصية: فهم دوافعها وماضيها، وتحويل مشاعرها إلى صوت وحركة ونظرة يصدّقها المشاهد. والممثل المحترف يعرف كيف يحلّل النص، ويستخدم جسده وصوته كأدوات، ويضبط أداءه حسب حجم اللقطة، ويتفاعل بصدق مع من أمامه.

تقدم الورشة تجربة تدريبية متقدمة في إعداد الممثل، تتيح للمشاركين فرصة التعلّم والتطبيق والتفاعل المباشر، والتعرّف على الأساليب التي يعتمد عليها الممثلون المحترفون في السينما والتلفزيون والمسرح.

على مدار ثلاثة أيام من التدريب، ينتقل المشاركون من تحليل النص والشخصية، إلى التعبير الجسدي والصوتي، والأداء أمام الكاميرا، والارتجال والتفاعل مع شريك المشهد، وصولاً إلى التحضير لتجارب الأداء وتصوير مشهد كامل.

هذه ليست ورشة تعتمد على الاستماع فقط، بل تجربة تفاعلية يؤدي فيها المشارك مشاهد حقيقية أمام الكاميرا خطوة بخطوة.

ماذا ستتعلّم خلال الورشة؟

تحليل النص والشخصية
تعلّم كيف تقرأ النص بعمق، وتفهم دوافع الشخصية وماضيها وهدفها في كل مشهد.

التعبير الجسدي
تدرّب على استخدام جسدك ووقفتك وحركتك أداةً للتعبير عن الشخصية ومشاعرها.

الأداء الصوتي
اكتشف كيف توظّف الصوت والنبرة والإيقاع لتمنح الحوار صدقاً وحياة.

الأداء أمام الكاميرا
تعلّم الفرق بين التمثيل للمسرح والتمثيل للكاميرا، وكيف تضبط أداءك حسب حجم اللقطة وقربها.

الارتجال والتفاعل
تدرّب على الارتجال، والاستماع الحقيقي، والتفاعل بصدق وعفوية مع شريكك في المشهد.

تجارب الأداء
جهّز مشهداً لتجارب الأداء (الكاستنج)، وصوّره، واخرج به كعيّنة تقدّمها لجهات الإنتاج.

طبّق واحصل على الملاحظات
لا تكتفِ بالاستماع. تركز الورشة على التدريب العملي والمشاهد المصوّرة، بما يمنح المشاركين فرصة الحصول على التوجيه والملاحظات المباشرة على أدائهم.

تعلّم بالممارسة… وليس بالنظريات فقط

ما يميز هذه الورشة هو أنها تجمع بين المعرفة والتطبيق، فكل أسلوب يتعلّمه المشارك يطبّقه مباشرة في مشاهد أمام الكاميرا.

وبنهاية الورشة، يخرج المشارك بأدوات واضحة لبناء الشخصيات، ومشهد مصوّر يضيفه إلى ملف أعماله، وثقة أكبر في الوقوف أمام الكاميرا.
